Yes. Vergo connects to Xero's public accounting API and posts spend directly: BankTransactions for card spend, ACCPAY Invoices for supplier bills, and ExpenseClaims for reimbursements, each with the receipt attached.
Can Vergo post to my Xero tracking categories?
Yes. Vergo reads your TrackingCategories and codes every transaction to them along with the account, so project, department or regional reporting in Xero stays intact.
What objects does Vergo write to Xero?
BankTransactions (SPEND), Invoices (Type ACCPAY), Contacts, Payments, ExpenseClaims, Receipts and Attachments, coded against Accounts and TrackingCategories.
How long does connecting Vergo to Xero take?
Minutes. Xero's API is self-serve, so an admin authorizes the connection once — no vendor approval and no IT work.
Does Xero have built-in expense management?
Xero Expenses handles claims and mileage as an add-on. Vergo adds corporate-card management, AI coding to accounts and tracking categories, and AP capture that posts into Xero.
