The Challenge

Manually collecting receipts and reconciling card transactions took excessive time. The accounting department was bogged down by emails, spreadsheets, and manual entry, while managers lacked timely visibility into spending.

The Process

Moss Utilities rolled out Vergo across its credit card program. Each employee received the Vergo mobile app, where transactions automatically appear for review. Employees attach receipts by snapping a photo, code the expense, and submit. The accounting team reviews and pushes approved transactions into Foundation with a click.

Vergo is able to connect with our credit card accounts, downloading transactions automatically for the card user to review, code, and add the receipt. Since the transition to Vergo, we have been able to cut back the time spent on credit card reconciliations immensely.
