Yes. Vergo connects to TruckMate's publicly documented Finance API, reads GL data, and posts coded spend through the accounts payable endpoints. Nothing is needed from your team or from Trimble.

Yes. Fuel, tolls, repairs, permits, and small-vendor invoices run through one coding model against your divisions and expense accounts, then post through the Finance API.
What data syncs between Vergo and TruckMate?
Vergo reads GL data through the Finance API and posts coded spend through the Finance API's accounts payable endpoints.
What does setting up the TruckMate connection require?
Access is self-serve against a public API. TruckMate is on-premise, so Vergo connects to your instance's endpoint; each instance connects separately.
Does Trimble TruckMate have built-in expense management?
TruckMate covers dispatch, billing, AP, and the GL. It does not issue cards or capture receipts at the point of spend, which is what Vergo adds before posting the finished entry.
