Does Vergo integrate with BrightPay?
Yes. Vergo reads employee data through BrightPay's payroll API and prepares approved reimbursements in the format your pay run expects.
Can Vergo pay employee reimbursements through BrightPay?
Vergo collects, receipts, and approves the claims and prepares them for the run. BrightPay calculates and pays them — its API has no reimbursement or additions endpoint, so Vergo does not write reimbursements into BrightPay.
What data moves between Vergo and BrightPay?
Vergo reads staff records through GetEmployees to match claims to people. The API's only payslip write is HourlyPayments, so approved reimbursements are prepared as pay-run input for the payroll operator instead.
How long does the BrightPay connection take to set up?
Your side is authorising the connection. Vergo then reads the employee list and mirrors your department structure, and the reimbursement format is agreed once with whoever operates the run.
Does BrightPay have an API?
Yes. Bright publishes a payroll API at devdocs.brightpay.com. It is new and scoped to timesheet providers, with GetEmployees for reads and HourlyPayments as its only write to payslips — no reimbursement or additions endpoint.
